Id Pro Quo 2023

This letter is currently under construction, should be done by 22 of January - you can look through this journal, all the fandom of this exchange were requested at least once before and I do plan on cannibalising the letters for this one.

Yuletude 2022

Hello! This account is for letters for various exchanges (although I haven't participated in this one before), so feel free to browse, some fandoms are repeated.

In any case, I would love anything from my prompts, and neither order, nor amount of prompts is indicative as to which one I'd like best.

Same goes for art/fic: while I will try to think up likes/prompts for both, I don’t draw myself, so some of those might be more geared up towards writing. It doesn’t mean art isn’t very welcome!

DISCLAIMER: size of fandom section doesn’t equal my desire to receive works based on those prompts - don’t think that I won’t love your work just because I haven’t written much about a fandom or character! :)

So, general section:
General DNW:

- out of setting AU/modern AU/generic AU (coffeeshop AU, high-schools AU and the like)

- hopeless endings (open endings are fine)

- non-canonical character death: canonical is fine, death while timeloops are going on are also fine.

- eye trauma described in any kind of detail

- mind-control

- character bashing (as in unreasonable hating without any reason spelled out - if you see a character able to bash another, warn for it and keep it as out of the author's speech as possible)

- non-con

- unconsentual infidelity in any poly ships — if two ends of the triangle are not into each other, I’d prefer a line about them being alright with the situation rather than the middle intentionally keeping them in the dark and/or angst about it

General likes (in addition to specific prompts):

- hurt/comfort (preferably in balance, or with more focus on comfort),

- there was only one _insert object here_ plots

- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words

- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of canonical battles or such)

- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing) - I especially like some twist of the theme. For example, if a soulmark is the last words you hear from your soulmate, it changes, or if a character changes their name the soulmark changes as well (valid both for trans reasons and for converting ones), or it being so generic it might not be there at all until it clicks.

- daemon AU

- bodyswap

- timetravel in all shapes and forms (inc. groundhog-day AUs)

- pining

- mpreg (complete with abortion or miscarriage, although I’d rather you not dwell on actual childbirth)

- magical realism - be it just domovois running about and Lykho being something you can physically scare away, or more mainstream fire/water/air/earth powers, or anything else you can think up!

19th Century CE RPF  (that's the longest one of them, and the only one I managed to gush about in detail - feel free to skip and don't worry if you are writing about anyone else)

80 Days (Video game)

This game is a new fancy and I’m very much in love with the characters and the feel of it - the various steampunk ways of travel, the way cities feel alive even though there’s so many of them, the NPCs, etc. I almost wish I added worldbulding, but all the characters are just so good.

Re: the characters - I’d love something that showcases either the subtleness of feelings involved or the unreliability of the narrator. We are getting all the information from Passepartout, after all, and while I’m romantic at heart, something could be interpreted differently
I'm also open to pairings: obviously Passepartout with everyone else, or possibly Fogg himself - we honestly do not know what Fogg does while Passepartout is away?

Around the World in 80 Days (TV 2021)

This one is a sudden favourite, because while it has a lot of things I like (XIX century, Tennant with great chemistry with TWO people, one of whom is a ginger! Trains (a bit, yes)!) it sure could do better in the scenario department, just very much not what I'd expected, tbh.
(too much second-hand embarrassment, no matter how good the people involved are in acting!)
Still, it would be a welcome gift!
Also, anything that tells how the characters came to be where they were at the beginning: how Passepartout learned Russian? Why Fix with her talent of writing just then finally was published (is it despite or because of her father)? How Fogg came to own all that stuff in the sitting room (globes and such): was it a memory, something he forgot to take down for all those 20 years or does he just not use rooms in his mansion?

Yudah Cohen Series - Rebecca Fraimow

I’m very thankful to whoever nommed this one, even without characters – feel free to write anything based on those delightful stories!
(Jews! Trans Jews! Ghosts! The way of dealing with them! Charming characters! The list goes on, certainly!)

A Study in Emerald - Neil Gaiman

Eldritch horrors in Victorian England (or is it?) Moriarty and Holmes! The way Gaiman subverts character expectations! Moran and his suffering! Victoria and her relatives!
Watson, who is still a doctor and who’s still writing – how he came to know Holmes in this reality?
Also, a crossover of that horror filled reality with the other fandoms in my sign-up would be great!

Star Wars: Leia Princess of Alderaan - Claudia Gray

This one is a YA Star Wars novel and Breha Organa is a very underrated character, a blorbo of a friend if you will.

As for worldbuilding potential – anything from the exact layout of Organa’s castle to just how exactly Breha manages to hide the costs of the Rebellion would be welcome!

Art likes:
- clear lines
- full colours (not necessarily bright, more like not watered, unless it’s watercolour, of course)

- characters dressed up to the nines, in uniform (army, navy or full court dress - say, 19th century Russia was big on that for example), or corsets (on men as well, that was a thing and it was nice).  Also crossdressing!
- I prefer blue, red, green, violet  and black, but since this exchange is for comics, anything would be fine (monochrome or black and white is fine as well!)

Re: mediums:

Remix and Podfic’s mediums were chosen for Rogue One - Krennic/Tarkin mostly because that’s the one fandom I actually wrote enough and received enough for there to be a choice for a remix/podfic. If there’s actually something I forgot in another fandom that attracts instead, feel free to do something based on that - I’ve never had anything remixed/podficced, it’ll be an honour!

Video mediums were chosen for fandoms that do have video at least in some forms, although some are obscure/hard to get - again, if you know something I don’t, feel free to make one for another fandom!

Charlotte von Preußen/Nicholas I of Russia (19th Century CE RPF)

Alexander von Benckendorff/Charlotte von Preußen/Nicholas I of Russia (19th Century CE RPF)

Charlotte von Preußen/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I (19th Century CE RPF)

Charlotte von Preußen/Varvara Nelidova/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I (19th Century CE RPF)

 Medium Opt In: Writing - Excerpts from a Character's Journal/Notebook and Medium Opt In: Illustrated Text (Art & Writing) - Excerpts from a Journal/Notebook/Sketchbook  - there was a tradition in that period for society women to keep a book for notes/small poems by their friends and acquaintances, and painting was a thing included in noble education, so the art bit could be sketches by others? Or just love notes ;)

Medium Opt In: Art - Drawn - Fanart

Medium Opt In: Writing - Epistolary - letters, letters, that’s the age of letters, be they actual missives, or notes as to where/when meeting, or anything!

Length Opt-In: Any Nominated Opt-In

Medium Opt In: Art - Fanart

Medium Opt In: Video - Fanvid - this one is honestly hard because, say, Nelidova is very rarely included in any period films (there’s probably a likeness somewhere), but some documentaries do include Benckendorff
(personally I’d rather you didn’t use Nicholas from Union of Salvation, half the time it looks like his hat is eating his face, Livanov did a better job in The Star of Captivating Happiness, but any video would be nice!)

Medium Opt In: Audio - Fanmix - I’d rather it wasn’t on spotify, this one doesn’t work in Russia, but anything else is nice (even a list of songs)

Medium Opt In: Writing - In-Universe Memoir  - anyone and their aunt was writing one, and there's a memoir by Nicholas I, although it doesn’t cover all the years of his life, obviously. Alexandra Feodorovna also kept a diary, although again, part of it might have been destroyed and what I read referred to the early years of their marriage.

Medium Opt In: Art - Tarot Card  - could be hard with a pairing, but a couple of cards? *puppy_eyes*

Medium Opt In: Art - Any Nominated Art Medium - this one is to catch all the arts

Nicholas I is my favourite tsar, although a lot of this is romantic fleur - for everything major he did right (law codex, railways, attempts at peasant reforms, relying on bureaucracy and not on nobility) there is something that went wrong (general antisemitism, lack of progress, Crimean war). Still, a man who can calm down a revolt by sheer presence (not the Decembrists, the cholera one in Saint Petersburg) or who’d ensure people aren’t harmed by the fire even when they are trying to save his property (the fire of the Winter Palace, where depending on what you read either no one was harmed or nothing got stolen - reportedly, the tsar even broke a huge-ass mirror because two firemen tried to take it out and wouldn’t listen to him), is fairly impressive.

So, like, I don’t subscribe to all his policies, but there is something about a man who wants to make things right (even if in retrospect it didn’t work or was a completely wrong response).

He was also overly fond of micromanaging, which involved travelling around Russia - only the European part, not Siberia though, - again, better than not bothering at all, but probably not the thing you’d expect from a tsar of all Russias! (good for roadtrips though)

Alexandra Feodorovna is generally described as beautiful, kind and not overly energetic, even in those matters usually left to tsarinas (charity, mostly, and overseeing of hospitals) - but given that she inherited, or tried to, all the duties of Maria Feodorovna (wife of Paul I, Nicholas got her height, if you want a image), I don’t think anyone would have qualified. Like, Maria actually tried to be regent over Alexander I (but he was too old), and later on advised him a lot, while also governing all the charity state programmes, was involved in hospitals, kept an eye on all her children and their spouses, so that feels like a person with a lot of energy - not something anyone can match. (also, Alexander I delegated more easier than his brother)

So, Alexandra was more of a mistress of the house - pretty, caring, not involving herself much in her husband’s business. Still, they loved each other and that’s why she is involved in three of four requests - one day I might go for Alexandra/Varvara Nelidova, and I do encourage it, but this is not today.

Alexander von Benckendorff is mostly known for being the first head of the Third Department (secret police - again, thanks, Nicholas, even though having an attempted revolt almost before you even were finally proclaimed the tsar must have been horrid + there were other such institutions before, this one got finer uniforms and got into foolish stuff further into 19th/20th century, but not exactly when it was founded), BUT Benckendorff was also a famous general and fought bravely in the wars with Napoleon. He was involved in several secret operations and even employed partisan tactics in later wars (along with more famous Davydov and actual peasants), was decorated and that presumably was what got him Nicholas’ attention and ear afterwards - Benckendorff supported Nicholas through the Decembrist revolt, Nicholas trusted him explicitly.

So this one is more about trust and loyalty (also, road trips - one of the prompts is about their trip where the carriage crashed, driver got killed and Nicholas was injured, although there were others less dramatic), and how much this changes over time. For example, there’s a theory that Benckendorff could have prevented the death of Pushkin - the Russian poet of XIX century if not ever, - who while being not always in favour of any given tsar (Alexander I, Nicholas I) up to being exiled to either his estate or Crimea, was always a darling - Nicholas, for example, was his personal censor, allowing his works to be published almost unchecked, allowed Pushkin into Imperial archives for research and paid his debts after Pushkin’s untimely death. So, the theory: Benckendorff knew about Pushkin’s final duel and instead of preventing it as ordered, send his men to the wrong address (there were multiple rivers with the same name, and there’s a bit of argument where exactly the duel was, so as you can guess, I’m firmly in the ‘human error’ camp here). Still, would Benckendorff practically go against his tsar’s wishes? (Nicholas certainly never wanted Pushkin dead)

Varvara Arkadyevna Nelidova is Alexandra Feodorovna’s lady-in-waiting and after a while Nicholas’s mistress. She was also a niece of his father’s mistress, Yekaterina Nelidova, - which also allowed her to attract Nicholas’ attention because Varvara knew some stories of his childhood from her aunt. Still, she was a favourite of Alexandra as well, up to Alexandra personally asking Varvara to stay on after Nicholas’ death.

Now, this bit would require a little background: after the birth of her last child, Michail, Alexandra was forbidden to have marital relations with her husband - the childbirth was almost deadly, she lost a lot of blood, and no sex is the one sure method to not have further children. She and Nicholas were in their 30es, so as you can imagine, chastity was fairly chafing for him, so Alexandra agreed to allow him to have relations with others (or, he never fucked again, depending on how patriotically foolish a particular source is - the whole thing was as secret as possible, which does imply to me that Alexandra knew, and that Nicholas loved her, because otherwise there would be no reason to be secret). So, here comes Nelidova - charming enough to become a constant presence both for Nicholas and for Alexandra, loyal enough to stay (some mistresses found themselves good enough husbands, and the tsar was usually on their side in any marital disputes). Again, this is more or less conjecture - my personal take of polyamory is more or less a rarity, and the other prompt hints at some initial disagreement between the royal couple (you husband fucks your lady-in-waiting, if you take the lady to Italy of all places, I suspect something sapphric is going on!)

Prompts (or very abbreviated historical anecdotes) as mentioned above, just for inspiration:
1) Nicholas Pavlovich was courting Varvara Nelidova (who was his wife’s maid-in-waiting) and apparently it was the final straw for Alexandra Feodorovna herself – she took Nelidova and went to travel along Italy. Nicholas followed suit, they talked things out and Nelidova was presumably the ‘head’ mistress as well as Alexandra’s friend – close enough to Nicholas that after his death Nelidova wanted to become a nun, close enough to Alexandra that she managed to talk Nelidova out of it.

2) Once Nicholas Pavlovich was travelling along with Benckendorff. Given how bad Russian roads can be, the carriage overturned, and Nicholas had his collarbone broken. Benckendorff went for help (although likely bruised himself) and later on was the liaison between Nicholas and the rest of the country while the tsar was being treated in a nearby village (for a couple of weeks, since it’s first half of XIX century!)

This game is a new fancy and I’m very much in love with the characters and the feel of it - the various steampunk ways of travel, the way cities feel alive even though there’s so many of them, the NPCs, etc. The worldbuilding tags are mostly what I brainstormed in the last days of noms, so feel free to use any for anything at all.

Re: the pairing - I’d love something that showcases either the subtleness of feelings involved or the unreliability of the narrator. We are getting all the information from Passepartout, after all, and while I’m romantic at heart, something could be interpreted differently
(either Fogg believing himself to be an open book, or mentally going “why is my valet flirting? Is it something everyone does? Or am I reading too much into it?” while Passepartour is making figurative heart eyes in the background (probably by finding the best tea or the most recent English newspaper) Or a situation from the point of view of both of them!

Or good old hurt/comfort or pining - for the first hurt Passepartout would be nice, although the game feels equal (since when Passepartout is out cold we don’t get an entry, I’m counting possible malaria and North Pole crash as comforting Fogg and Passepartout passing out on the Icewalker and tea clipper near Singapore as comforting Passepartout, even if the latter also has hurt Fogg)

Case fic, case fic! What about Lestrade solving a case and proudly presenting everything to Holmes/Watson? For extreme measures – what if the detective is captured or was attacked and thus cannot actively participate – their friends have to both solve the case and comfort!

Slice of life is also nice, as well as exploring the aspects of unusual or illegal (for canonical times) relationships (especially when one or all participants are police officers)

Also, what about Holmes or Watson deducing that for all the competitiveness Gregson and Lestrade harbour some mutual affection?

As for Iren/Mary - Boston fluffy marriage?

Or just something from the list of likes above!

Most of those are set for either casefic, and video - although Javert is marked as S/B, you can use whoever fits!
(or Watson and Hastings discussing their detectives and Javert going ‘wait, you let the perpetrator go? just like that? you can do that?’)
Krennic and Talos share an actor, so could be anything: Talos getting a job as Krennic’s double, Talos trying to steal something as Krennic, etc?

Death would definitely have opinions about star wars, I think.

This one is an old favourite of mine, the one who managed to get me back into writing and uploading fics, so it’s a bit hard to describe - the Russian fandom lovely calls it a pairing of a snake and a toad, three guesses as to who is who. The main bit is the obviously present tension, although it could be hatefucking. Could be hate-mindfucking.

Could be “I hate you, but only I can kill you” (canon, actually, I guess :)).

Could be a rebel!AU where Tarkin is more akin to Saw Guerrera and Krennic is the one to get in funds? (check out shans’ designs on tumblr, very pretty!)

Or just something - I mean, it is a rarepair, there’s no wrong option! ;)

This one is mostly an exercise in seeing how fairly different people would react in, well, relationships - it doesn’t help that Kenobi is shippable, Windu is cool, and Organas are blorbos of a fandom friend, and Tarkin is a bit feral but still probably changeable at this point (or, like, amendable to being tamed by someone who isn’t Palpatine)

Also, Dooku and Tarkin definitely charred more than a cup of tea while Dooku was trying to get Greater Seswenna to cedede (mentioned in Tarkin tie-in novel, no worries if you haven’t read it!)

A few prompts:

- everyone is a Jedi!AU or Sith!AU for any pairing - preferably with characters retaining their age difference (if they were the same age - they are either all Masters or all Padawans/Students, if there was a difference of more than 5 years - Master and Padawan, preferably after the Padawan has reached their knighthood, this kind of thing)

- an established (possibly canonical) couple goes and seduces a third (or two, for additional shenanigans)

- two people try to woo the third one, this turns into a poly relationship

- timetravel! Everyone would benefit from a little time travelling adventure together, am I right? Maybe Obi-Wan comes back from the future and has now to change it, with or without help from his loved ones? Maybe Mace Windu falls through the window to ten years forward and Tatooine? Or any RT|OT|Clone wars characters are thrown back to SW:TOR era and have to navigate a very changed world where the only constant is the person you came through time with? (or anything in the past, I just play Star Wars: The Old Republic, so I'm familiar with the setting)

- soulmate!AU is my current favourite and I'd welcome anything with it, but a slight twist of the usual is very much appreciated - say, the last words a soulmate says to you being changeable (and actually changing every so often to something even more generic!) Or someone (... Anakin, or Tarkin) having their own name as either their enemy or their soulmate (if that's the soulmate!AU where people are born with two names on their wrists) and their partner(s) being _horrified_ and worried about the implications.

- good old roles switcheroo - Bail and Breha being the officers in the Navy while Tarkin stays a governor, Jedi Padme and Tarkin to Senator and Admiral Kenobi and Skywalker, this kind of thing?

The first three is mostly an exercise in crack - what if Kenobi arriving at Death Star meant a reconciliation with Tarkin (preferably with everyone leaving intact)? Wonder whether Vader would still attack or just sit and think about Tarkin of all people getting to that first base first.

Gen tags are for Luke and Leia growing up, whether it be canon or Prince Luke and farmer Leia kind of thing.

I don't really have a preference for gender/appearance, although gingers are always cool, especially in art.

As for mood, I'd rather have something light-headed, if that's possible (not all pairings roll with it), and open-ended if not.

So, some thought over those:

Vampire Painter/Art Historian who Wants to know who was on what portrait (OW) - just imagine: you’re having a nice evening, walking down an art gallery, and suddenly you have to remember who the fuck paid you to have their relatives painted. With dates

Emperor/Empress/Their Courtier They Are Trying to Seduce (OW) - is it something they both decided on, is it one suggesting the idea and another warming up to it or is it a competition?

Alpha Emperor/His Omega Brother/Omega Brother's Alpha Wife (OW) - did the wife come into this knowing of the brothers’ arrangement or was it her inclusion that sparkled something?

Ruler of the Country/Personification of the Country (OW) - anything goes, really!

God of Justice/His Paladin who Came to Arrest Him (OW) – how do you even arrest the god of justice? for what? on what grounds? (do you officially become the god afterwards, is an arrest a disqualifier for godhood? is there a disqualifier for one?)

Flamboyant Creator/Severe Government Official who Curates said Project (OW) - do they grow to like each other? Do they not? Are there attempts at being romantic though bureaucratic channels?

I sincerely applaud whoever nommed the Times’ staff - it’s not a thing I knew I wanted before I saw it in the dropdown!
As for any prompts - I can’t really think of any, and the general likes with the mediums seem like a good list already!

For this one dnw about modern AU does not apply in a sense that it’d be Discworld modernised - like, the disk stays, computers grow smaller and more widespread, this kind of thing?
(generic Starbucks is still out, sorry for anyone who likes those!)

Although, Ankh-Morpork sure looks like a city that’ll manage to have AO3 without the internet, complete with anonymity and prompt memes ;)

FFFX 2022

DISCLAIMER: size of fandom section doesn’t equal my desire to receive works based on those prompts - don’t think that I won’t love your work just because I haven’t written much about a pairing!

- complicated feelings

Note: again, this is for a comic, so it’s completely unnecessary to bother with small details, I completely understand that it could be too time-consuming

Now, for fandom-specific prompts, squee and whatever I can manage - those are done in the sign-up configuration (unless Star Wars, which are combined), so just scroll down for the one you want to check out:

Obi-Wan Kenobi/Mace Windu (SW:TCW)

Bail Organa/Breha Organa/Wilhuff Tarkin (SW:TCW)

All options re: fic/fanart

This one is mostly an exercise in seeing how fairly different people would react in, well, relationships - it doesn’t help that Kenobi is shippable, and Organas are blorbos of a fandom friend, and Tarkin is a bit feral but still probably changeable at this point (or, like, amendable to being tamed by someone who isn’t Palpatine)

- soulmate!AU is my current favourite and I'd welcome anything with it, but a slight twist of the usual is very much appreciated - say, the last words a soulmate says to you being changeable (and actually changing every so often to something even more generic!) This one is mostly about what if the twins were brought up by different people?

(or had a particular cloud of ghosts following, also possible)

I don’t think I saw anything with Larses, but feel free to add them - Obi-Wan is in their vicinity, and Owen and Beru definitely deserve some attention!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

Orson Krennic/Wilhuff Tarkin (Rogue One)

All options re: fic/fanart

Or just something - I mean, it is a rarepair, there’s no wrong option! ;)

Crossover Fandom

Russia (Anthropomorphic) & Any Romanov Ruler (RPF)

Russia (Anthropomorphic)/Any Romanov Ruler (RPF)

Leia Organa & Luke Skywalker (SW:OT) & Mace Windu (SW:PT) - see Original Trilogy above, it’s thematically linked there

All options re: fic/fanart

Fandom specific DNW: Nicholas II after 1905.

The first part of this one is left intentionally open ended on both sides because anthropomorphic countries are a delight and I don't know all the canons (I definitely followed Hetalia for a while, and some others), and I don't want to lock into a canon. So yep, anything goes, my fave Romanov is described above, but everyone else would also be cool.

(Sophia Alexeevna also counts, regent over Peter I and his brother Ivan V is enough of an achievement!)

Could be something serious, like Russia worrying over reforms or lack thereof, or trying to tell what needs doing - if the ‘soul’ of the country knows what’s best, that definitely depends on the idea of personification you’d choose.

Could be crack - like, soulmarks on a country could go in that direction (okay, Alexander it is, but which one, Nicholas Pavlovich, why did you name your son after your brother and send the country into a guessing spiral?) or Russia going for a list of best rulers in bed or in dance or in conversation, like, Peter III gets a 3, his wife a 7, Elisaveta Petrovna is a 10, that kind of thing.

(try to guess what pairings some of those were based on)

I don't really have a preference for gender/appearance, although gingers are always cool, especially in art.

As for mood, I'd rather have something light-headed, if that's possible (not all pairings roll with it), and open-ended if not.

So, some thought over those:

Emperor/Empress/Their Courtier They Are Trying to Seduce (OW) - is it something they both decided on, is it one suggesting the idea and another warming up to it or is it a competition?

Alpha Emperor/His Omega Brother/Omega Brother's Alpha Wife (OW) - did the wife come into this knowing of the brothers’ arrangement or was it her inclusion that sparkled something?

Ruler of the Country/Country (OW) - could be physical, could be some extremely patriotic crack.

Old Ghosts in a Building & A New Ghost (OW) - I’ve had some lovely fics for this one, and I like the idea of For the 'Old Ghosts in a Building & New Ghost' I did offer a 'Romanovs' ghost in Winter Palace' prompt, this one could be as crackish as they go (with the caveat of NOT making light of anything happening to wider population, be it the Siege of Leningrad, any repressions going on or earlier epidemics or uprisings).

(I mean, there is a legend of the ghost of Paul I living in Michailovsky Castle, and while it was his dream, what if he lives there just because the rest turned him from Winter Palace?)

Fallen London | Echo Bazaar

Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha/Victoria Queen of the United Kingdom (Fallen London)

All options re: fic/fanart

This one is a new fancy, fairly in line with my love of both XIX century and steampunk.

The gist of Fallen London is as follows: it’s a browser text game, in which London fell down, below the earth. There are a number of entities who might have played a part - Masters, each governing a profession, devils, even probably the Iron Republic, - and also you can’t die there, so there’s a number of undead walking.

Whether Prince Albert is one of them, or was he healed - is the question. I admit I play infrequently, and haven’t read the wiki, but I believe the player doesn’t meet Albert and the most they get from Victoria is a vague unsettling description (as usual for the game - you can sell your soul there, after all!)

So yep, another explanation I latched on was whether it was Victoria who sold London to the Masters for her husband’s life?

I mean, what would make a queen of one of the biggest empires of the world sell her capital for her husband's being? (was it just the opportunity? was there something else in that offer? was it actually a thing prompted by other countries to weaker British Empire? was she just like that?)

Even if it is spelled out (I don't believe it would be), a work explaining it in details would be very welcome!

Les Misérables - Schönberg/Boublil

Javert/Jean Valjean (Les Mis - S/B)

All options re: fic/fanart

This one is another old favourite, source of much joy - I chose the musical fandom for this, but I won’t be nitpicky about whether the details are from there or from the Brick.

I like Javert, personally, the eternal conflict between law and justice, and the problem of what to do if the very foundations of yourself are shattered.
(Valjean too, suffers, and you can argue that his world was shattered as well, first by injustice, second by mercy - I just resonated better with Javert, probably because lack of God)

To be honest, I also very much liked the groundhogs fics of this fandom, but anything goes.

Re: visuals - I saw a London version, but I won’t remember the actors and I definitely saw a recording of the anniversary one, but it’s not really necessary to adhere to any visuals apart from relative build/height
(if anything, the dapper Javert and Valjean of 1978 film with Anthony Perkins and Richard Jordan were more delightful, but again - I haven’t requested the film, so it’s not necessary)

The one prompt I could manage is as follows: soulmates do have corresponding marks, be it names or whatnot, and that's how Javert gets on Valjean's trail after whole M. Madeleine thing - Javert's mark changes according to how Valjean styles himself (whether Javert actually tries to show it as evidence is up to you, I would accept any logical explanation for and against such an action)

Also, legalese - Javert's reports about Valjean over the years, he was bound to write some.

Crossworks 2022

Hello! This account is for letters for various exchanges (although I haven't participated in this one before), so feel free to browse, some fandoms are repeated.
In any case, I would love anything from my prompts, and neither order, nor amount of promts is indicative as to which one I'd like best.
Regarding smut/no smut - I do prefer plot to smut, but it's a preference, and I'm okay with violence.

General DNW:
- out of setting AU/modern AU/generic AU (coffeeshop AU, high-schools AU and the like)
- hopeless endings (open endings are fine)
- non-canonical character death
- eye trauma described in any kind of detail
- mind-control
- character bashing (as in unreasonable hating without any reason spelled out - if you see a character able to bash another, warn for it and keep it as out of the author's speech as possible)
- non-con
- unconsentual infidelity in any poly ships — if two ends of the triangle are not into each other, I’d prefer a line about them being alright with the situation rather then the middle intentionally keeping them in the dark and/or angst about it
- unconsensual infidelity in marriage

General likes:
- hurt/comfort
- there was only one _insert object here_ plots
- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words
- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of canonical/historical events or such)
- bodyswap
- timetravel in all shapes and forms (inc. groundhog-day AUs)
- for XIX century - focus on something other than USA or Britain

Now, for fandoms (having never done this exchange before, so this might not be logical or repeat in places):

1. 19th Century CE RPF, His Dark Materials - Philip Pullman - Art/Fision, Fic/Fusion

This one is easy – daemon AU is one of my favourites, there’s no way you can fail this one!
(I do have several usual pairings I nominate for 19
th century, which all revolve around Nicholas I of Russia: https://ekevka.dreamwidth.org/2943.html is the latest letter with prompts even, if you’re interested, but it’s not a requirement at all).

This one is a fusion mostly because it’s more interesting for me to see just how daemons feature in, say, Japan, or what to do if you were signed up to the Navy yet your daemon solidifies in a form of a lion. (Or were just happily living somewhere fairly landlocked and got a fish for your outside soul). 19th century is a fairly interesting time period, allowing for both wars, technical progress, and at least the beginnings of a number of modern basic rights.

I will admit I don’t remember how far in the timeline His Dark Materials’ original world is – it probably felt first half of XXth century, but I don’t have my copy of the books at hand to (re)read it with attention, so feel free to imagine just how it all went there!

2. Napoleonic Era RPF, His Dark Materials - Philip Pullman, X-Men - All Media Types, Эраст Петрович Фандорин - Борис Акунин | Erast Petrovich Fandorin - Boris Akunin, Avatar: Legend of Korra - Art/Fision, Fic/Fusion

Napoleonic Era RPF is one of the fandoms I nominated for the case when 19th Century CE PRF wouldn’t be approved – it was, but it still is an good one to crossover.

X-Men is the one for mutants, and I’ve read several fine things with people having superpowers without the comics being referenced, thus the fusion tags.

(I mean, having Napoleon be a teleported and being just unable to lock him up for long would be a funny thing, tbh ;))

Erast Petrovich Fandorin is a book series about a Russian detective in the third quarter of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, with a few books having either series (Azazel, translated as the Winter Queen) or films (The Turkish Gambit, The State Councillor) done. The films star some important names (Beroyev, Menshikov, Mihalkov), but those are also Russian – not the thing to be asking in those harrowing times. Still, the main bit is this: Akunin was firstly a translator, mainly from Japanese, and thus every novel is an enterprise in a different genres, some being a spy thing, some – a locked room mystery and so on. Fandorin even met Sherlock Holmes and Arsene Lupin in a short story, so that’s a thing you can sneak in. Still, would be a fun detective (with a Japanese sidekick! Did I mention that Akunin was a translator from Japanese?) to fuse with anything else mentioned.

Avatar is here mostly for the kicks of fusing it with X-Men – the idea of powers being something completely natural and yet something very much dividing is realized very differently and I for one do look forward to any ideas or results this prompt might inspire! The Korra series do seem to have more similarities in tone, and also the things they do with metal...

(this very much doesn’t mean I’m not interested in His Dark Materials with powers whatever their source is, or the Avatar and their daemon, and so on – this is just a description of whatever ideas I had in mind when adding fandoms)

3. Союз Спасения | Union of Salvation (2019), His Dark Materials - Philip Pullman – Art/Fusion, Fic/Fusion, Art/Crossover

Union of Salvation is another of the fandoms called forth to replace 19th Century if needed – a modern film about the Decembrists, the uprising of the 1825, whose members wanted either a democracy, or a Constitution for Russia and wisely used the troubles with Alexander I’s brothers sort of tossing the crown to and fro (the will named Nicholas (third brother) as the successor, but it wasn’t read while Alexander was alive, so a number of powerful people were all for Konstantine (second brother) being the tsar – he was very afraid of ending up killed like their father Pavel I, so he stayed in Warsaw and send letters to his brother to fuck off and get crowned already!).

Unfortunately, the uprising failed – one of its leaders was arrested before it all happened, another didn’t have the guts to show up, a number of the regiments stayed loyal to the tsar and the ones that were revolting in the south didn’t have time to reach Kiev, not to mention Moscow or Saint Petersburg (then the capital).

So, daemons? Failed rebellions against the government? Both?
(or a successful rebellion, I do like Nicholas, but not that much)

4. Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle, Miss Marple - Agatha Christie, Эраст Петрович Фандорин - Борис Акунин | Erast Petrovich Fandorin - Boris Akunin, Poirot - Agatha Christie, Murder She Wrote - Art/Crossover, Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion

The detectives galore! This one is all out – are they working together (forget for a moment the mention of ‘canonical’ crossover between Holmes and Fandorin)? Is there a multidimentional club that would solve all your murdery problems as long as you aren’t the murderer? Are Poirot and Holmes related? (Holmes did have French roots, those can stretch to Belgium, sorry Belgium!) Is Miss Marple a relative of Mrs Fletcher? Do the men consult with the women on some of their problems? (probably not Poirot though, he seems fairly competent already in this regard)

You get the drift, I hope!

5. Russian Royalty RPF, His Dark Materials - Philip Pullman, Avatar: The Last Airbender, X-Men - All Media Types, Assassin's Creed - All Media Types - Art/Fision, Fic/Fusion

This one is even more of a guilty pleasure – I like a good fusion with powers being creatively adapted, so feel free to pick and combine as you want!
(if you do add Nicholas I, it’ll probably make my month, but again – not a thing this exchange focuses on)

(you know what, same for Felix Yusupov, he’s royalty through marriage and very cool and queer – if you want to read the memoirs of a guy who crossdressed, dined with the tsar, killed Rasputin and then sued the film studio to making a film and showing his wife fucking Rasputin, go read his, very fun! He also fucked with men, but I’m not sure how much it’s shown in the memoirs and how much is common knowledge)

(a number of the same could be said for Feodor Basmanov – XV century warrior and boyarin of Ivan the IV (better known as the Terrible) – he was likely queer, crossdressed, probably was involved in m/m, but got killed by order of Ivan, so not so happy ending here)

6. 19th Century CE RPF, Avatar: Legend of Korra - Art/Fision, Fic/Fusion

Again, the changing times with elemental powers and an Avatar somewhere in the world – what could be better?

7. Avatar: Legend of Korra, Discworld - Terry Pratchett, Russian Royalty RPF - Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion

Some of those were covered earlier, and adding Discworld looks like the perfect thing to add – its satirical approach to justice would greatly compliment the other fandoms.

8. Союз Спасения | Union of Salvation (2019), Assassin's Creed - All Media Types - Art/Fusion, Fic/Fusion

This one is an exercise in thinking – while AC series mentioned something about Russian assassins (and templars, and whatever it was with Alexander III), it doesn’t go this far in history afaik, so, free game!

Were the Decembrists assassins trying to built a better society or templars trying to gain power? Were the Romanovs brothers slowly initiated into either societies? Were it even one group – like, assassins usually try for lower hanging fruit, but no member of the general public even suspected Nicholas would be the next, so who next to try to talk into some more rights?

(he was pretty conservative and fairly paranoid, mostly because of the Decembrists, but still)

Also, this time period had Alexander Pushkin – the Russian poet, a descendant of Abraham Hannibal, a black prince in service of Peter I, womaniser, a duelist and generally a chaotic enough being to somehow stumble into both assassins and templars (he was a friend of the Decembrists and even admitted that he would have been with them were it not for him being outside the capital at the time and the tsar still let him go)

As for the opposite – still cool, either society failing a revolution because they relied on the wrong people and underestimated their opposition is always interesting!

9. 19th Century CE RPF, X-Men - All Media Types - Art/Fusion, Fic/Fusion

Both were covered before, so it’s just a ‘mutants in another time period’ thing – feel free to do anything with it!

10. Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic (Video Game), His Dark Materials - Philip Pullman, Avatar: Legend of Korra, The Murderbot Diaries - Martha Wells - Art/Fusion, Fic/Crossover, Fic/Fusion

Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic is a Star Wars MMORPG set some thousands of years before the main movies, so usual lightsabers, but a lot more siths wandering about, and it has the emperor who cannot die (and who eats planets), an empire which literally sprigs out of nowhere to the the conflict for two dlcs (basically), and so on. It’s also free-to-play (at least, some content is still money locked), so you can totally try it if you like such things.

Murderbot is a very fun series of novellas and an occasional novel about the exploits of a sentient murderbot, that is, a security bot which broke out its programming to think for itself (and watch streaming), so you know why this one also has a fic/crossover? Nothing like the Murderbot to go and talk with any of the HK units?
But even if not, both Star Wars and Murderbot are space operas, one with epicness and laserswords, another with a different sort of epicness, questions about personhood and breaking into all the internet. And helpful ships.

The other two were described before and the main ideas are the same: daemons! Steampunk with elemental powers! They definitely need Force and lightsabers, or at least a bot.

Again, none of the above means that I’d be disappointed in any other combination – it’s just the ones that I have an actual idea or the ones I’d imagine need description. Each and every combination would be welcome, so all the inspiration!

Letter for Rule 63 Exchange 2022

Note: I'm fine with trans characters, and trans headcanons for those who stayed their canonical gender, sorry if I formulate things in any ways incorrectly.

- non-con

- unconsentual infidelity in any poly ships — if two ends of the triangle are not into each other, I’d prefer a line about them being alright with the situation rather then the middle intentionally keeping them in the dark and/or angst about it. If a canon spouse is not mentioned in the prompt, I'd rather the character turns out to be not married or the spouse is okay.

- unconsensual infidelity in marriage (unless canon)

 General likes (in addition to specific prompts):

- hurt/comfort

- there was only one _insert object here_ plots

- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words

- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of canonical events or such)

- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing)

- daemon AU

- bodyswap

- timetravel in all shapes and forms (inc. groundhog-day AUs)

Now for the fandoms and prompt (where I could think of some, and most are likely to be questions, not direct situations):

1. Discworld - Terry Pratchett.
Sybil Ramkin/F!Havelock Vetinari/F!Samuel Vimes
Sybil Ramkin/F!Havelock Vetinari
F!Carrot Ironfoundersson/Angua von Uberwald
Adora Belle Dearheart/F!Moist von Lipwig
Medium: Fanfiction
Always a 63
Temporarily a 63

Discworld is very much a journey in itself, and it's fairly obvious that from this canon I want more femslash. In some cases that would impact the characters' lives quite significantly - would F!Vetinary be the first woman to enroll into Assassin's School and be the first female member of the Guild, or would she choose a different path to the same target (I can't see Vetinary not ruling Ankh-Morpork)? What about the whole 'first woman in the Watch' schtick, if there's F!Vimes or F!Carrot before Angua is enlisted? Would F!Carrot be a lesser danger in terms of kingly inheritance - given that the majority don't even know who exactly is the heir? Would it matter for Dragon King of Arms if the heir is a wlw with a werewolf girlfriend as opposed to a cis man? Would F!Moist attempt different schemes or just be the master of disguise, ready to pretend to be whoever the situation requires (I should have requested NB!Moist, but good thoughts are often late)?
Note: I'm totally fine with the answers to this being 'yep, the end's the same' or even works without sexism/homophobia playing a part, although this is a canon that works quite closely with those concepts.
Fandom-specific DNW: Raising Steam described in major details, I haven't read it yet (I do know there is a train, but that's sort of it).

2. 19th Century CE RPF

M!Charlotte von Preußen | Alexandra Feodorovna/M!Varvara Nelidova/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia
M!Charlotte von Preußen | Alexandra Feodorovna/M!Varvara Nelidova/F!Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia
M!Charlotte von Preußen | Alexandra Feodorovna/F!Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia
Charlotte von Preußen | Alexandra Feodorovna/Varvara Nelidova/F!Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia
Charlotte von Preußen | Alexandra Feodorovna/M!Varvara Nelidova/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia
Medium: Fanart
Medium: Fanfiction
Always a 63
Permanently a 63
Temporarily a 63

Okay, I'm this one nerd who always requests semi-obscure historical canons, and while this is not that obscure (mid-XIX century Russan Tsar, his wife and one of his lovers), it's not a popular thing. Still, the perspective are endless!
A direct always a different gender-switch would probably move the royal couple to Prussia - wives followed husbands, and thus they'd be a Prussian king and his wife instead - wonder if they'd still meet Nelidova?
Would M!Nelidova attempt the same way to attract Nicholas' attention - in real life she told him stories of his childhood as told her by her aunt, who was once a lover of Pavel I, Nicholas' father? Or would M!Nelidova court Charlotte first? What about the variant in which all are men - would this hurt Nicholas' chances of being the tsar, because in real life he was preferable to his elder brother Constantine because Nicholas was married with children and Constantine was in a morganatic marriage and had no legal kids? Single Nicholas with two male lovers around probably won't get the crown ;) (or he does still, because Constantine never wanted it, and just never marries, you know, the historical cliche of an eternal bachelor?)
Temporarily a 63 is such grounds for crack - like, imagine the uproar when a tsar suddenly wakes up a woman, or tsarina a man! Or their (I'm pretty certain that Nelidova was 'their' lover) lover suddenly becomes a man?
Or a magical version of 'our' reality, where people just sometimes change physical gender?
Note: crack doesn't mean that gender dysphoria is funny, it's just a way of describing possible shenanigans.
Art likes: pastel colours, corsetry, uniforms.

Fandom specific DNW: Crimean War described in detail, any mention of Nicholas I death being suicide (him being suicidal is fine, but I do believe his death to be a natural cause)
Possible sqick: patronymics and surnames should be appropriate to gender as expressed by the characters (so M!Nelidova would be Nelidov, F!Nicholas would be Romanova, etc).

3. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
F!Orson Krennic/F!Wilhuff Tarkin
Medium: Fanfiction
Temporarily a 63

Just gimme confused imperials who might or might not have an enemies-with-benefits going on! Very much a 'shenanigans issue prompt', so I'm not even certain what else I can add.

4. Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types
F!Dooku/F!Wilhuff Tarkin (Clone Wars)
F!Dooku/F!Mace Windu (Clone Wars)
M!Padmé Amidala/Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars)
Medium: Fanfiction
Always a 63
Permanently a 63
Temporarily a 63

This one is mostly an exercise in getting more fem or raising a question - how different would be Padmé and Anakin relationship if there's no danger of dying in childbirth? (a very specific feminine death, although again, the nightmares might just be about Padmé dying).

Still, my favourite prompts for this fandom are always a Force user|not a Force user or an exchange of roles - Mace a Sith, Dooku stayed a Jedi (or on light side, if Dooku still left the order), Tarkin a fallen Jedi, Dooku a count of a suddenly very politically interesting planet, this kind of thing.

5. Star Wars Legends - All Media Types
Thalassa Tarkin/F!Wilhuff Tarkin
Natasi Daala/F!Wilhuff Tarkin
Medium: Fanfiction
Always a 63
Permanently a 63
Temporarily a 63

This one is again mostly about the gender roles of a pretty sexist canon - I'm pretty certain that Tarkin got a wife and a lover back in Legends mostly because that's how things are/were. So what of a F!Tarkin? Would she still get to the same level without a husband? Would there still be a scandal about Daala - a woman being a protege of another woman is not that rumour-worthy.

Feel free to involve anything from 'canon' Star Wars - it's fairly hard to distinguish finer details anyway!

Letter for Stork Swap 2022

Hello! It's my first time participating in this exchange, and I'm really looking forward to it! The ideas (mostly questions, tbh) are below.
Also, all this account is for exchange letters, so browse at your pleasure.
Note: some of the freeforms mention 'fathers' - those mean impregnators regardless of gender, I just haven't nominated pairing specific freeforms because I haven't thought further than 'I like the concept'.
I'm not usually one for pointing out my tastes, because it feels like I'm railroading the author into a specific station, but with this exchange already being specific enough I'm going to try somewhat specifying things (actual freeform tags and DNW take priority, of course!):
I love mpreg - regardless of how its explained (or even not explained at all). Trans, magic, horror takes - anything goes (although in terms of horror I'd like every character to survive and tags to prepare me specifically). This said, I don't care much for either conception or birth - you can describe it, you can skip over, both are valid choices.
I don't really like the pregnant person to be helpless, but them being comforted is fairly cool.
Abortion/miscarriage/stillbirth are fine - again, just tag, those things happen.
In any case, tags are great (both so I can shake my gift better and so I would be prepared for whatever gem you'll create!)

General fanfic likes:
- hurt/comfort
- there was only one _insert object here_ plots
- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words
- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of important events or such)
- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing)
- daemon AU
- bodyswap
- timetravel in all shapes and forms (inc. groundhog-day AUs)
- for original fiction: historical, steampunk or magical settings (historical being up to approx. 1920)
- mpreg (especially in f/m pairings)

General DNW:
- generic modern time
- any allusions to modern situation/politics (illnesses that span the globe, countries being torn apart, that kind of thing - mentions is fine, being the centre of the plot is DNW)
- non-con

19th Century CE RPF:
    • Charlotte von Preußen/Varvara Nelidova/pregnant Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I (19CE RPF)
    • Charlotte von Preußen/pregnant Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia (19CE RPF)
    • Alexander von Benckendorff/pregnant Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia (19CE RPF)
    • Alexander von Benckendorff/Charlotte von Preußen/pregnant Nikolai I Pavlovich (19CE RPF)

Freeforms:
    • A/B/O - Alpha Somehow Pregnant
    • A/B/O - Alphas playfully compete to get their Omega lover pregnant
    • character is wary of being pregnant because of bad experiences in the past
    • Character thought they were too old to get pregnant
    • F/M Mpreg
    • mpreg is known but stigmatized
    • mpreg is known but SURELY it would not happen to character A! then it does
    • Polyamory - Pregnant with Both Partners' Children
    • sharing pregnancy symptoms with the people you're psychically bonded to
    • Stoic character needs more help & comfort during pregnancy
    • Threesome - don’t know which partner is the father
    • A/B/O - Female Alpha/Pregnant Male Omega
Those are my historical OTP/OT3 - anything goes, honestly. Most of the freeforms are prompts in their own right, and given the format the rest is pretty obvious.
Fandom specific DNW: unconsensual infidelity - even a line about either no marriage or spouse being okay is better than the lack of it;
     Crimean War described in any detail (you can even lead up or kill Nicholas I outright, just don't focus exclusively on this failure of national politics)
     any theories that Nicholas I killed himself (depression and poor attention to his own health is one thing, actual suicide - no, please)

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) - All Media Types
    • Bail Organa/Breha Organa/pregnant Wilhuff Tarkin (SWTCW)
    • Bail Organa/Breha Organa/pregnant Obi-Wan Kenobi (SWTCW)

Freeforms:

    • A/B/O - Alpha Somehow Pregnant
    • Accidental Mpreg - Thought He Was Sterile But Oops Actually He's Mpregnable
    • Accidental mpreg caused by impregnator's superpowers/biology/Force
    • Character thought they were too old to get pregnant
    • Finding Too Late That The Unknown Artifact You Touched Made You Gain A Womb And Become Impregnable
    • Friends with benefits while pining further complicated by unplanned pregnancy
    • mpreg is known but SURELY it would not happen to character A! then it does
    • Star Wars - Sometimes The Force Just Impregnates People And This Is Normal
    • Threesome - don’t know which partner is the father
Star Wars doesn’t really need an introduction or explanation – although for this exchange I'd opted just for Clone Wars subfandom. The pairings chosen are more or less a crack OT3, so do whatever you like!

Star Wars Legends: The Old Republic (Video Game)

    • pregnant Malavai Quinn/Vette (SWTOR)
    • Lt. Pierce & Malavai Quinn pregnant from Sith Warrior & Vette & Jaesa Willsaam (SWTOR)
    • Lana Beniko/pregnant Malavai Quinn/Sith Warrior (SWTOR)

Freeforms:
    • Communal Child Raising
    • Continuing Dangerous Lifestyle Despite Pregnancy
    • Finding Too Late That The Unknown Artifact You Touched Made You Gain A Womb And Become Impregnable
    • Friends with benefits while pining further complicated by unplanned pregnancy
    • mpreg is known but SURELY it would not happen to character A! then it does
    • People Who Absolutely Should Not Raise A Child Are Now Responsible For One
    • Pregnant with Multiple Babies
    • sharing pregnancy symptoms with the people you're psychically bonded to
    • Star Wars - Sometimes The Force Just Impregnates People And This Is Normal
    • Threesome - don’t know which partner is the father
    • A/B/O - Female Alpha/Pregnant Male Omega

SW:TOR is a fun game, and Sith Warrior crew are my current favourite. I usually go with light side choices for Sith Warrior, but anything would do.
Fandom DNW: fic with pregnant Malavai in jail (as in set during the 5 years in carbonite part of the storyline)

Original Work:
    • Pregnant Emperor/Empress/Their Head Mistress (OW)
    • Alpha Emperor/His Pregnant Omega Brother/His Brother's Alpha Wife (OW)

Freeforms:
    • Hiding Pregnancy So Love Interest Will Continue Having Sex to Breed Heir
    • Impregnator Has Incest Kink
    • Messy but ultimately positive feelings about incestuous pregnancy
    • Polyamory - Pregnant with Both Partners' Children
    • Polyamory - A/B pregnancy frees them to (re-)add third partner without fear of paternity mixups
    • Pregnant character impregnating their partner
    • Threesome - don’t know which partner is the father

As with the rest, the freeforms are prompts enough, although I'd prefer a fantasy or steampunk setting.

Hello! It's my first time participating in this exchange, and I'm really looking forward to it! The ideas (mostly questions, tbh) are below.

Regarding smut/no smut - I do prefer plot to smut, but it's a preference, and I'm okay with violence.

- any allusions to modern situation/politics (illnesses that span the globe, countries being torn apart, that kind of thing - mentions is fine, being the centre of the plot is DNW)
- hopeless endings (open endings are fine)
- non-canonical character death (apart from temporarily ones due to timeloops or Hades - see clarification down in relevant section)
- eye trauma described in any kind of detail
- mind-control
- character bashing (as in unreasonable hating without any reason spelled out - if you see a character able to bash another, warn for it and keep it as out of the author's speech as possible)

     Fandom: 19th Century CE RPF
Pairings: Charlotte von Preußen/Varvara Nelidova/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I (hurt Varvara)
Charlotte von Preußen/Varvara Nelidova/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I (hurt Nicholas)
Charlotte von Preußen/Varvara Nelidova/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I (all hurt)
Charlotte von Preußen/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia (hurt Nicholas)

Alexander von Benckendorff/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia (both hurt)
Alexander von Benckendorff/Charlotte von Preußen/Nicholas I of Russia (hurt Nicholas)
Alexander von Benckendorff/Charlotte von Preußen/Nicholas I of Russia (hurt Alexander)
Freeforms: Stoic character softly confesses they don't feel well
Normally stoic character grudgingly asks for support & is surprised to receive it
Soulmate AU - being near will heal injuries
Soulmate AU - one soulmate can take the pain and/or injury of another
Soul bond means A can feel B's pain even when B is trying to hide it
Bedside Vigils
Character A more concerned about Character B's injuries than their own
Character has a history of pretending to feel better than they do
Two people grow closer while taking care of a third
Wingfic - Accidental wings reveal when character is hurt/sick & can no longer hide them
king's health linked to kingdom's - okay, this prompt is very good, kudos to whoever nominated it and I do wonder: who actually dominates, is it king's (or emperor in this case) illness that pains the country or the country's mismanagement that manifests as emperor's illness?

Those are my historical OTP/OT3 - anything goes, honestly. Some of the freeforms are prompts in their own right, and I don't really have a preference as to physical or phycological hurt.
Fandom specific DNW: unconsensual infidelity - even a line about either no marriage or spouse being okay is better than the lack of it;
     all hurt no comfort;
     Crimean War described in any detail (you can even lead up or kill Nicholas I outright, just don't focus exclusively on this failure of national politics)
     any theories that Nicholas I killed himself (depression and poor attention to his own health is one thing, actual suicide - no, please)
Historical anecdotes I like, just for inspiration:
Benckendorff went for help (although likely bruised himself) and later on was the liason between Nicholas and the rest of the country while the tsar was being treated in a nearby village (for a couple of weeks, since it’s first half of XIX century!)

     Fandom: Les Misérables - Victor Hugo
Pairing: Javert/Jean Valjean (hurt Javert)
Javert/Jean Valjean (both hurt)
Freeforms: Character A more concerned about Character B's injuries than their own
Soulmate AU- being near will heal injuries
Soulmate AU - Soulmates share injuries
Soulmate AU - Soulmates feel each other's pain
Enemies to Lovers - Accidental soulbond between enemies/rivals
Accidental Soulbond - distance and lack of touch causes characters pain and illness
Soul bond means A can feel B's pain even when B is trying to hide it
Time Loop - Character A Keeps Failing to Save Character B
Time loop - Forced to watch LI to die repeatedly until they break the loop succeeding in rescuing LI -
this prompt clearly is exempt from non-canonical character death DNW
Wingfic - Accidental wings reveal when character is hurt/sick & can no longer hide them

The fandom for this one has made some awesome timeloop fics, so naturally I'd love to seen more, but as usual, anything from the freeforms would be welcome.
I don't really have a preference as to when exactly the whole thing is set, but I would rather see a clear tag.
Oh, I do have one promptish thought - soulmates do have corresponding marks, be it names or whatsnot, and that's how Javert gets on Valjean's trail after whole M. Madeleine thing - Javert's mark changes according to how Valjean styles himself (whether Javert actually tries to show it as evidence is up to you, I would accept any logical explanation for and against such an action)

     Fandom: Hades (Video Game 2018)
Pairings: Nyx & Meg (hurt Meg)
Ares/Thanatos (Hades Video Game) (both hurt)
Hades/Nyx/Persephone (Hades Video Game) (hurt Nyx)
Hades/Nyx/Persephone (Hades Video Game) (hurt Persephone)
Hades/Nyx/Persephone (Hades Video Game) (hurt Hades)
Hades/Nyx/Persephone (Hades Video Game) (all hurt)
Ares/Athena (Hades Video Game) (hurt Ares)
Ares & Athena (Hades Video Game) (hurt Ares)
Aphrodite/Ares/Thanatos (Hades Video Game) (hurt Ares)
Nyx/Persephone (Hades Video Game) (hurt Nyx)
Freeforms: aftermath of war
Normally stoic character grudgingly asks for support & is surprised to receive it
Stoic character softly confesses they don't feel well
Character A more concerned about Character B's injuries than their own
Protectiveness - Character A still tries to protect Character B despite A being injured
Faking Recovery So Others Will Stop Worrying About You
hurt character is not used to being touched by someone else
Intoxicated character confesses that actually things are NOT okay
Resurrection after violent death

Okay, Hades pulled me in with pretty visuals and fairly compelling story - pretty much all characters are fun, most are very likeable, conflicts are fairly meaningful (and honestly, it's kind of sad how the whole parents - children conflict repeats itself in generation after generation).
In terms of this exchange, it's fairly interesting to explore just how gods and demigods react to hurt - is there a point where temporary death is a reprieve? Do they heal phycological traumas just as easily as they would a physical wound? (going by canon - very much no, but it's still an interesting question).
What is hurt for god of war anyway - like, does he have a higher pain threshold, does he just not bother about 'small' wounds to horror of his less bloodthirsty relatives, or does he never get any injuries and thus is even more shocked when something gets him?

Regarding character death for this one: given the game mechanics and everyone being at least immortal, I'm waiving non-canonical character death as DNW for this fandom (just tag, please)

   Fandom: Original work
  Characters: Group: Romanov dynasty as ghosts haunting Winter Palace (all hurt)
  Group: Ghosts residing in a building & New Ghost(s) (all hurt)
Freeforms: Ghosts hiding their cause of death to not additionally burden others
Ghosts comforting each other about cause of death
Ghosts still feeling their illnesses/injuries even after death

Okay, this one is pretty self-explanatory - ghosts mingle, exchange stories and tales, bring news (or don't bring some of them, up to you!
Regarding Romanov part - I think my favourite couple is pretty obvious from the prompts above, but anyone would be welcome here, even those of the dynasty who actually never set foot in Saint Petersburg. Also, feel free to use any rumours regarding death here - is Alexander I coming later than his brother because he actually moved to Siberia instead of dying or because he took a very scenic route back home? How many Peter III ghosts come and try to weasel in all claiming they are the real tsar? Is there an Anastasia Romanova or are there several (and when does she arrive)?
(how does Nicholas II explain all his family dying in one day? does he even attempt to or just never answers?)
(are there bastard ghosts wandering the halls?)
Of course, all of it could be turned into original building being a camping ground for ghosts - are they family members? Have they all died there? Is it just a very fancy building, so they just come in to spend eternity? Is it a library, or a museum - some place you can spend an eternity in? (if the last one - does the personnel see or feel the ghosts?)
For this one modern times are okay - it's could be more fun re:first group of ghost, but please, refrain from any recent developments (let's say, anything specific up from 2005 is still a DNW, but mobile phones and widespread wifi can make an appearance).

Letter for May the Fourth 2022

Hello! I am excited to read (or see) whatever you would create and I am grateful for taking time to create something for me.

Pairings sorted in no particular order since this exchange doesn't require actual subfandoms - I did try to group them together (if any are not listed there - I forgot to copy them; if any are listed here but not in the sign-up - sign-up prevails):
-
Obi-Wan Kenobi/Mace Windu
- Bail Organa/Breha Organa/Wilhuff Tarkin

- Padmé Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker/Wilhuff Tarkin

- Lt. Pierce & Malavai Quinn & Vette & Jaesa Willsaam
- Lt. Pierce/Malavai Quinn
- Malavai Quinn/Vette
- Talos Drellik & Malavai Quinn
- Talos Drellik/Malavai Quinn

General DNW:

any non-Star Wars AUs ;

eye injuries described in any detail;

unconsensual infidelity (without explicit approval by a mentioned partner(s);

mind-control;

drugs outside of sex pollen situation;

major character death (stopping before a canonical death is fine, as well as mentioning a canonical character death - although I'd grateful if you tag for it!);

non-con;

dub-con (other than what's inherent in having a romantic relationship with one's commanding officer)

General likes:

- mpreg (especially if an older/stronger character gets pregnant). Note: miscarriage or abortion are both valid outcomes, just tag them!

- hurt/comfort;

- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words;

- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of canonical battles or such);

- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing);

- daemon AU;

- bodyswap;

- Groundhog day!AU (feel free to make it a week, or a month, or any length of time; for that one main character death is fine, as long as it's not permanent);

- timetravel;

- general canonical shenanigans.

Some prompts (given that this is a Star Wars only exchange, those are easier to come up with, but anything that's not a DNW is very welcome!):

- everyone is a Jedi!AU for any pairing - preferably with characters retaining their age difference (if they were the same age - they are either both Masters or both Padawans, if there was a difference of more than 5 years - Master and Padawan, preferably after the Padawan has reached their knighthood, this kind of thing)

- everyone is a Sith!AU - anything goes, honestly

- an established (possibly canonical) couple goes and seduces a third

- two people try to woo the third one, this turns into a poly relationship

- timetravel! Everyone would benefit from a little time travelling adventure together, am I right? Maybe Obi-Wan comes back from the future and has now to change it, with or without help from his loved ones? Maybe Natasi Daala is suddenly thrown into past and has to clear all the red tape in order to prevent the Death Star from being blown up - but it's too far back and it's barely a project yet (and also a wrong universe altogether, so she doesn't know too much)? Or any RT|OT|Clone wars characters are thrown back to SW:TOR era and have to navigate a very changed world where the only constant is the person you came through time with?

- soulmate!AU is my current favourite and I'd welcome anything with it, but a slight twist of the usual is very much appreciated - say, the last words a soulmate says to you being changeable (and actually changing every so often to something even more generic!) Or someone (... Anakin, or Tarkin) having their own name as either their enemy or their soulmate (if that's the soulmate!AU where people are born with two names on their wrists) and their partner(s) being _horrified_ and worried about the implications.

- various companions unite in search of their bosses - and each is certain that their survived despite all odds (shakes fist at SW:TOR insistence that companions would just sit somewhere and wait for PC to find them). You can add whoever else you'd like- I'd admit I have my favourites up in pairings, but everyone are welcome. Whoever is the Commander - up to you! (if that's Leia - bonus kudos, although she'll have a very hard time)

Thanks again for creating something for me (or just reading this)! May the Force make your creativity flow and may the writing block never loom over you!

Original 5k 2022

Hello! It's my first time participating in this exchange, and I'm really looking forward to it! The ideas (mostly questions, tbh) are below.
Also, all this account is for exchange letters, so browse at your pleasure.
Regarding smut/no smut - only one ship is stricktly no smut, the rest is up to you! (I do prefer plot to smut, but it's a preference).

General DNW:
- generic modern time
- any allusions to modern situation/politics (illnesses that span the globe, countries being torn apart, that kind of thing - mentions is fine, being the centre of the plot is DNW)
- non-con

General likes (in addition to specific prompts):
- hurt/comfort
- there was only one _insert object here_ plots
- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words
- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of important events or such)
- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing)
- daemon AU
- bodyswap
- timetravel in all shapes and forms (inc. groundhog-day AUs)

- historical, steampunk or magical settings (historical being up to approx. 1920)
- mpreg (where applicaple)

Ships:
Woman Crowned King Instead of Queen For Legal Reasons/Her Arranged Marriage Queen Consort (F/F)

This is a pretty fascinating prompt (mostly for legal reasons bit, tbh): does the Queen Consort know she’s marrying a woman? Is the King title a tradition? A personal preference for some reason?
Note: while the prompt hints at patriarchate society, I’d prefer either minimum or no misogyny – because it’s somewhat baked in the prompt, it’s not a DNW but a preference.

Queen/Her Chancellor (F/F)

Oh, this one is all about loyalty for me – does the chancellor do all the things Queen would like to happen even before she asks? Is it vice versa? Does the Queen know the Chancellor would never betray her? Or does she have doubts regardless?
An actual prompt: the Chancellor realises there’s a plot against the Queen and has to join them to dismantle it from within. Does she tell the Queen? Or does she keep her in the dark?

Immortal Empress/Her Reincarnated Lover (F/F)

How does the Empress recognises her lover? Is it a gesture, a skill, or do they look the same? How do mortal and immortal being live, knowing one is going to die? Does the lover remember her previous lives or are they more like a dream? If second, does the Empress tell her lover about their past together?

Goddess of War/Goddess of Art (F/F)

How do they court each other? Does War bring fancy spoils for Art, or does Art depict War (be it pictures, songs, dances or whatever)? Or does War try to court Art with, well, art, be it her own or commissioned?

God of Time/God of Jewellery/Goddess of Telepathy (M/M/F)

Can they use their powers on each other? Do they use them? It’s probably more obvious with Time and Telepathy, but Jewellery could be used for bondage wink-wink
Or just a day in their life, probably a long one.

God of Justice/Goddess of War (M/F)

What do they disagree on? Are there laws War agrees to apheld? Or does Justice berates her every time there’s another conflict?
Or who’s going to win, if there’s a fight?

God of Time/Mortal he is trying to seduce (M/M)

How does a God of Time who has all the time in the world seduces someone who is mortal? Is he successful?

God of Justice/His Paladine who Came to Arrest Him (M/M)

Oh, this one is also about loyalty, yet not to a being – to an idea. What exactly is Justice if a God of it is to be arrested? Is the Paladine even right or is it a revolt? If he is, does the God go quietly or resists, believing himself to be always right?

Is it a built in feature of the universe they live in, where each and every god is eventually displaced by someone who’d be better?

Deity of Life & Woman asking to repeatedly revive fiance/Fiance who thinks they are just sickly

I’m just expecting crack from this, tbh, and all the ways someone can die and still believe it to be an illness.
Prompt specific DNW: explicit gore

Empress/Her Empire (F/Other)

Emperor/His Empire (M/Other)

Those two are fairly similar, so they are grouped together. Is the Empire the spouse, by tradition or by choice? Or does they keep their ruler on a short leash so that there’s no sudden changes in policy that’ll negatively affect them? Or does the Empire choose the Empress/Emperor?

Empire/Their Capital City (Other/Other)

Who’s in charge? Do they agree on things or not? Who was there first: did the Empire built themselves a Capital, or did the Capital conquer the world for their Empire (okay, a small chunk of the world)?

Or do they foul mouth the court/Senate/whoever together?

Immortal Ruler & Their Advisors over the Ages (Any & Any)

I’d like to see different people interact with the Ruler, be it conflicts, or agreements, or just the day-to-day work with someone who knew your grand-grand-grand parents and would know your grand-grandchildren.

As for the setting: I like steampunk, generic XVII-XIX century for historical and fantasy akin to Discworld or Witcher if not (as in – magic more prevalent than gunpowder, actions have consequences, humans are humans and therefore are allowed to be nasty, modern utilities can exist but as a magical or less technological thing, etc.).
Any fantasy races are welcome (preferably with tags).
Thanks again for creating something for me (or just reading this)! I wish you all the inspiration (and may the writer's block never find you!)

Id Pro Quo 2022

Hello, dear creator! I am so excited to participate in this exchange and am grateful that you've thought of creating something for my prompts. Note: you can write in Russian, if you want, I am fluent in the language.
General info:

General likes (in addition to specific prompts):
- hurt/comfort
- there was only one _insert object here_ plots
- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words
- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of canonical battles or such)
- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing)
- daemon AU
- bodyswap
- timetravel in all shapes and forms (inc. groundhog-day AUs)
General note for all pregnancy prompts: while specifically abortion or miscarriage are not mentioned, they are also valid outcomes (just tag if the process is graphic, same goes for actual labor).

Canon/pairing specific prompts:
(as a way to incite imagination only!)
19th Century CE RPF
Charlotte von Preußen | Alexandra Feodorovna/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia (19CE RPF)
Alexander von Benckendorff/Charlotte von Preußen/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I (19CE RPF)
Charlotte von Preußen/Varvara Nelidova/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I (19CE RPF)
Alexander von Benckendorff/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia (19CE RPF)

Freeform tags:
Polyamory - A/B canon couple court oblivious and pining C
Third Partner in Poly Relationship Mistakenly Believes They're Just the Dirty Little Secret
Mpreg: both or more male partners inpregnate each other
A/B/O: Female Alpha(s) is/are worried over pregnant Male Omega
A/B/O - courtship rituals
An apple in bed keeps you undead
Soulmates - Meeting Your Soulmate is the Legal Equivalent of Marriage No Matter the Situation
Age Gap - Older character knows they're soulmates but doesn't tell the younger leading to angst
Trying to conceive but the wrong partner gets pregnant
Character is reluctant to accept help/comfort but eventually does
Clothing - Helping a lover get into their corset (two notes: male corsets existed and Nicholas Pavlovich 100% wore one at least in his youth)
Established Relationship - Couple still absolutely stupid in love despite being together for ages
Time Loop - Groundhog Day
Hurt/Comfort - Stoic character softly confesses they don't feel well
Roadtrip
A/B/O - Betas Change To Fit With Partner - Beta/Beta Pairings Often Surprising Who Turns What

Those are my history OTP/3, so anything with them would be a delight! Soulmates, mpreg, daemons, plain magical realism – anything!
For the inspiration, however, I’ll write two historical anecdotes:
Benckendorff went for help (although likely bruised himself) and later on was the liason between Nicholas and the rest of the country while the tsar was being treated in a nearby village (for a couple of weeks, since it’s first half of XIX century!)
(am I hinting at hurt/comfort and/or relationship negotiations? Yes. Yes, I do)

Soulmates - Scars appear on each other's skin

Alternate Universe - Steampunk

The reason why this is in generic tag instead of Hetalia or Countryballs is that I don't really want to limit the way cities and countries can be anthoropomorphed. Ghosts? Entities that change according to the changes their population is going through? Physical children of earlier wandering groups of people? Immortal people chosen somehow among the populace? Or something completely different, it’s up to you!
Or just something from the list of tags or likes above (how would a daemon of a city look?)!
Note: I'm all for gender fluid personifications, but in Russian names/patronymics/surnames are gendered, and I won't be able to forget it (that's more of a squick, and there are gender neutral surnames, usually foreign in origin, so that's not a DNW per se).
Prompt specific DNW: Russia being sociopathic and/or insane;
anything set within a modern conflict or in any modern revolutions/rebellions (otherwise modern time is fine – for this prompt Modern AU is not a DNW, just don’t relay too heavily on stereotypes)
England being a manipulative prick (even if that's often the reality);
anything set during Crimean War for England/Russia;
any country/city being a drug addict/alcoholic;
Saint Petersburg having a human name Petr | Peter (their city nickname can be Peter, just not their human chosen name as well)

A's Partner B Died; A Found New Love With C; Now Everyone Is Dead; How To Be A/B/C In Afterlife
Aftermath of Resurrection (could be plain aftermath of the canonical fake death of Holmes, could be something mystical)
Alternate Universe - Steampunk

Case fic, case fic! What about Lestrade solving a case and proudly presenting everything to Holmes/Watson? For extreme measures – what if the detective is captured or was attacked and thus cannot actively participate – their friends have to both solve the case and comfort!
Slice of life is also nice, as well as exploring the aspects of unusual or illegal (for canonical times) relationships (especially when one or all participants are police officers)
Or just something from the list of likes above!

Star Wars doesn’t really need an introduction or explanation – although in this exchange it’s a one big lump of fandoms (probably in a trenchcoat). I have participated in Star Wars exchanges, so any prompts from former letters are great to go still (this whole account is for exchanges), but my usual favorites are any time travel shenanigans, Force-usage swap (say, Padmé and Tarkin are the Jedi, Obi-Wan is a Senator and Anakin managed to be an ex-governor turned admiral? Or Mace Windu is the survivor of Order 66 and recovers on Tatooine to teach Luke (or hides as an advisor to Organas, I’m certain he deserves some comfort?) or Force-alignment swap – Jedi turning Sith, Sith – Jedi, that thing.

Russia/Romanov and Russia & Romanov would be fun (picking Nicholas I is an easy win, but anyone would be welcome). Same rules as to personifications apply - anything goes, although mind the names, and have fun with it. Is the ruler the only one who can see/touch the country? Or does the country manipulate them? In a case of change of power, whom does the country choose? Did Elizabeth Petrovna get the throne because Russia themselves favoured her? Does Russia have a specific connection to their ruler? Do any of other countries have similar arrangements? and so on
Peter I is somewhat controversial, but I’d love to see either a reminiscence from either of the cities or some story from the time of the founding of St Petersburg.
Prompt specific DNW: Russia being sociopathic and/or insane;
anything set within a modern conflict or in any modern revolutions/rebellions (anything starting from October Revolution is modern, the Bloody Sunday and the rest of 1905/06 is on thin ice)

Rare Femslash Exchange 2021

Hello, dear creator! I am so excited to participate in this exchange and am grateful that you've thought of creating something for my prompts. Note: you can write in Russian, if you want, I am fluent in the language.
General info:
General DNW:
- out of setting AU/modern AU/generic AU (coffeeshop AU, high-schools AU and the like)
- hopeless endings (open endings are fine)

I have participated in Star Wars exchanges, so any prompts from former letters are great to go still (this whole account is for exchanges), but my usual favorites are any time travel shenanigans, Force-usage swap (say, Leia Organa as the youngest Hand of the Emperor and Mara Jade as the General of the Rebellion?) or Force-alignment swap – Jedi turning Sith, that kind of thing.

Any fantasy races are welcome (preferably with tags).
Note: I’m not certain whether the person who nominated Golem/Female Rabbi meant golems in Jewish tradition, but for this particular prompt anything that doesn’t depicts golems as protectors first and foremost is DNW.

Letter for Heart Attack Exchange 2021

Hello, dear creator! I am excited (and somewhat anxious) to participate in this exchange and am grateful that you've thought of creating something for my prompts. Note: you can write in Russian, if you want, I am fluent in the language.
General info:
General DNW:

any modern or generic AUs - specifically adjusted for pairings where there's no common canon or for original works, see below or in the exchange box!
eye injuries described in any detail;
unconsentual infidelity in any poly ships - if a canonical ship has to broke up, I'd prefer they never got romantically involved;
mind-control;
drugs outside of sex pollen situation;
character bashing (as in unreasonable hating without any reason spelled out - if you see a character able to bash another, warn for it and keep it as out of the author's speech as possible)
major character death (stopping before a canonical death is fine, as well as mentioning a canonical character death - although I'd grateful if you tag for it!);
non-con;
dub-con (other than what's inherent in having a romantic relationship with one's ruler or country)
for art: chibis
Some ships/prompts have specific DNWs - those are mentioned in the box or below a pairing.

General likes:
- mpreg (especially if an older/stronger character gets pregnant). Note: miscarriage or abortion are both valid outcomes, just tag them!
- hurt/comfort;
- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words;
- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of canonical battles or such);
- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing);
- daemon AU;
- bodyswap;
- Groundhog day!AU (feel free to make it a week, or a month, or any length of time; for that one main character death is fine, as long as it's not permanent);
- timetravel;
- general canonical shenanigans.

Canon/pairing specific prompts:
(as a way to incite imagination only!)

Those are my history OTP/3, so anything with them would be a delight! Soulmates, mpreg, daemons, plain magical realism, ghosts wandering around late XIX century Saint Petersburg – anything! Feel free to mix pairings, as long as some historical accuracy is retained.
Prompt specific DNW: any theories that Nicholas I killed himself (depression and poor attention to his own health is one thing, actual suicide - no, please);
time period of Crimean War (you can lead up to it, however)

Discworld - Terry Pratchett

Carrot Ironfoundersson/Havelock Vetinari
Carrot Ironfoundersson/Havelock Vetinari/Angua von Uberwald
Death (Discworld)/Havelock Vetinari
Adora Belle Dearheart/Moist von Lipwig/Havelock Vetinari

Any of those would be wonderful to read about, be it a darker timeline where Carrot did become king, any role swaps (Vimes as an assassin, Vetinari the Captain of the Guard and lady Ramkin as the Patrician? Lipwig the secretary (more akin to Wonse than Drumknott, but he does seem good enough to never intentionally summon a dragon) with Drumknott the forger? you got the picture I hope!).

England being a manipulative prick (even if that's often the reality);
anything set during Finland War and WWII for Finland/Russia, or Crimean War for England/Russia;

Generals can be any gender, although fem or slash is more preferable than het for this pairing.

Do any of other countries have similar arrangements? and so on
As for Mr Drumknott and Ms Lemon - full crossover with one living and working in the world of another, some kind of interworld union of private secretaries (feel free to add other characters who fit the bill!) or just meeting for a cup of tea and a chat - I feel like they'll have enough to talk about!
Prompt specific DNW: any modern setting/generic AUs or descriptions of October Revolution and the consequences - you can lead up to it, just don't describe overtly;

Thanks again for creating something for me (or just reading this)! I wish you all the inspiration (and may the writer's block never find you!)

Letter for Holly Poly Exchange 2021

Hello, dear creator! I am excited to participate in this exchange and am grateful that you've thought of creating something for my prompts. Note: you can write in Russian, if you want, I am fluent in the language.
General info:
General DNW:

any modern or generic AUs - specifically adjusted for pairings where there's no common canon or for original works, see below or in the exchange box!

eye injuries described in any detail;

unconsensual infidelity (without explicit approval by a mentioned partner(s);

mind-control;

drugs outside of sex pollen situation;

major character death (stopping before a canonical death is fine, as well as mentioning a canonical character death - although I'd grateful if you tag for it!);

non-con;

dub-con (other than what's inherent in having a romantic relationship with one's commanding officer or ruler)

General likes:

- mpreg (especially if an older/stronger character gets pregnant). Note: miscarriage or abortion are both valid outcomes, just tag them!

- hurt/comfort;

- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words;

- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of canonical battles or such);

- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing);

- daemon AU;

- bodyswap;

- Groundhog day!AU (feel free to make it a week, or a month, or any length of time; for that one main character death is fine, as long as it's not permanent);

- timetravel;

- general canonical shenanigans.

Canon/pairing specific prompts:
(as a way to incite imagination only!)

19th Century CE RPF:
Alexander von Benckendorff/Charlotte von Preußen/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia
Charlotte von Preußen | Alexandra Feodorovna/Varvara Nelidova/Nikolai I Pavlovich | Nicholas I of Russia
Those are my history OT3, so anything with them would be a delight! Soulmates, mpreg, daemons, plain magical realism – anything!
For the inspiration, however, I’ll write two historical anecdotes:
Yes. Yes, I do)

Discworld - Terry Pratchett
Sybil Ramkin/Havelock Vetinari/Samuel Vimes
Maladict/Betty "Shufti" Manickle/Polly "Ozzer" Perks
Adora Belle Dearheart/Moist von Lipwig/Havelock Vetinari
Otto von Chriek/Sacharissa Cripslock/William de Worde
I am firmly convinced that the last rel is canon, but any of those would be wonderful to read about, be it the running of the city, it’s various businesses, the paper or the inn (or the inherent shenanigans of having a relationship with Moist).
Or just something from the list of likes above!

Star Wars - All Media Types
Bail Organa/Breha Organa/Wilhuff Tarkin
Obi-Wan Kenobi/Wilhuff Tarkin/Mace Windu
Padmé Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker/Wilhuff Tarkin
Obi-Wan Kenobi/Bail Organa/Breha Organa
Lando Calrissian/Leia Organa/Luke Skywalker/Han Solo
Jyn Erso/Amilyn Holdo/Leia Organa
Malavai Quinn/Male Sith Warrior/Vette
Obi-Wan Kenobi/Asajj Ventress/Quinlan Vos
Vector Hyllus/Eckard Lokin/Malavai Quinn
Lana Beniko/Malavai Quinn/Sith Warrior/Vette
Star Wars doesn’t really need an introduction or explanation – although in this exchange it’s a one big lump of fandoms (probably in a trenchcoat). I have participated in Star Wars exchanges, so any prompts from former letters are great to go still (this whole account is for exchanges), but my usual favorites are any time travel shenanigans, Force-usage swap (say, Padmé and Tarkin are the Jedi, Obi-Wan is a Senator and Anakin managed to be an ex-governor turned admiral? Or Lando as the Force prodigy from nowhere, Leia the smuggler, Han the Prince and Luke the smuggler-turned-governor?) or Force-alignment swap – Jedi turning Sith, Sith – Jedi, that thing.
For Vector Hyllus/Eckard Lokin/Malavai Quinn, since this one is definitely specific to this exchange, I’d love to see the exploration of the Sith Empire as seen by a diplomat, a spy and an army officers – with none of them being Force users, they are sure to have something in common, right?
Or just something from the list of likes above!

Сrossovers:
Sherlock Holmes (ACD)/Javert (Les Misérables)/Samuel Vimes (Discworld)
Peggy Carter (MCU)/Minerva McGonagall (Harry Potter)/Susan Pevensie (Narnia)
Both of those caught my eye with the galaxy brain takes – either the people involved roughly share their profession or they are technically contemporaries! Anything that explores that is very welcome: do the ‘girls’ meet in post-was London? Is Susan sought out for being a specialist in magic? Did she and Minerva just travel to the USA for a new start for some reason?
‘Boys’ might ask for a direct crossover – although a crack department consisting of them three is also appealing. Or Javert and Vimes trying to solve something while Holmes goes on about clues (useful and not)?
For those two pairing the DNW about modern AUs doesn’t apply (although a coffee/flowershop/bakery/etc AUs are still DNW) – feel free to transport them into a common modern setting, but otherwise keep the things as close as they can be, please?
Anything from the likes above without any explanation of how they came to be is also fine!

Agatha Christie's Poirot (TV)
Arthur Hastings/Felicity Lemon/Hercule Poirot
Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle
Sherlock Holmes/Lestrade/John Watson (ACD)
(those two are grouped for the detective aspects)
Case fic, case fic! What about Hastings and miss Lemon solving something while Poirot is otherwise occupied? Or Lestrade solving a case and proudly presenting everything to Holmes/Watson? For extreme measures – what if the titular detectives are captured or were attacked and thus cannot actively participate – their friends have to both solve the case and comfort!
Slice of life is also nice, as well as exploring the aspects of unusual or illegal (for canonical times) relationships (especially when one participant is a police officer)
Or just something from the list of likes above!

Wiedźmin | The Witcher (Video Game)
Emhyr var Emreis/Geralt of Rivia/Mererid (Video Game)
Emhyr var Emreis/Geralt of Rivia/Pavetta (Video Game)
Dettlaff van der Eretein/Geralt of Rivia/Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy (Video Game)
Emhyr var Emreis/Geralt of Rivia/Yennefer of Vengerberg (Video Game)
Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon/Cerys an Craite/Morvran Voorhis (Video Game)
I love the Witcher 3 game (and have managed to read/watch a bit of the source material and the new series), and I love the whole world – humane monsters and monstrous humans, witchers, politics and the consequences… So anything exploring it is very much welcome. Does Geralt bring specific news for any of his partners or do they frantically warn him if something definitely bad is going to happen in his approximate location? How does Cirilla rule with such parents and predecessors (or does she not, Witcher!Ciri is a delight?) How exactly two vampires and a witcher work?
Note: Pavetta surviving is always a bonus, and can be a forth participant in any rels with Emhyr (if not, please mind the unconsensual infidelity DNW)!

Original Work
God of Justice/Goddess of War/Priest Who Serves Them Both (OW)
Royal Couple (F/M)/Female Courtier Who Has To Carry Their Child (OW)
God of Stone/Goddess of Music and Telepathy/God of Time (OW)
Emperor/Empress/Their Mutual Harem (OW)
King/Queen/Their Advisor (OW)
Alpha Emperor/His Omega Brother/His Brother's Alpha Wife (OW)
For original ships I’d prefer generic XVII-XIX century if historical and fantasy akin to Discworld or Witcher if not (as in – magic more prevalent than gunpowder, actions have consequences, humans are humans and therefore are allowed to be nasty modern utilities can exist but as a magical or less technological thing, etc.).
Any fantasy races are welcome (preferably with tags), and yes, Alpha Emperor/His Omega Brother/His Brother's Alpha Wife (OW) hints at incest ;)

Thanks again for creating something for me (or just reading this)! I wish you all the inspiration (and may the writer's block never find you!)

General DNW:

any non-Star Wars AUs (unless that's for a crossover pairing in an AU where characters were always Star Wars ones, or always Marvel heroes/Discword or Etheria denizens, etc - those are very much welcome);

eye injuries described in any detail;

unconsensual infidelity (without explicit approval by a mentioned partner(s);

mind-control;

drugs outside of sex pollen situation;

major character death (stopping before a canonical death is fine, as well as mentioning a canonical character death - although I'd grateful if you tag for it!);

non-con;

dub-con (other than what's inherent in having a romantic relationship with one's commanding officer)

General likes:

- mpreg (especially if an older/stronger character gets pregnant). Note: miscarriage or abortion are both valid outcomes, just tag them!

- hurt/comfort;

- characters expressing their feelings by actions instead of words;

- calm before the storm moments (especially if there's a foreshadowing of canonical battles or such);

- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing);

- daemon AU;

- bodyswap;

- Groundhog day!AU (feel free to make it a week, or a month, or any length of time; for that one main character death is fine, as long as it's not permanent);

- timetravel;

There are two pairings asked specifically for this (Malavai Quinn/Wilhuff Tarkin, Lana Beniko/Leia Organa), but any pairing would benefit from a little time travelling adventure together, am I right? Maybe Obi-Wan comes back from the future and has now to change it, with or without help from his loved ones? Maybe Natasi Daala is suddenly thrown into past and has to clear all the red tape in order to prevent the Death Star from being blown up - but it's too far back and it's barely a project yet (and also a wrong universe altogether, so she doesn't know too much)? Maybe it's Dooku who leapt a bit forwatd in time instead of the Dark Side and has now to help Mace Windu because who else?

Whoever is the Commander - up to you! (if that's Leia - bonus kudos, although she'll have a very hard time)

Thanks again for creating something for me (or just reading this)! May the Force make your creativity flow and may the writing block never loom over you!

Dear Trick-or-Treater!

- hopeless endings (open endings are fine)

- mpreg (especially if an older/stronger character gets pregnant)
- hurt/comfort
- there was only one _insert object here_ plots

- soulmate AUs (but not any kind that impedes one's vision before meeting a soulmate - like, see only the colour of their eyes/no colours other than black and white until you've met, that kind of thing)

May the 4th be you Letter

Dear Yoda!
I am excited to read (or see) whatever you would create and I am grateful for taking time to create something for me.
General DNW:
- out of setting AU (coffeeshop AU, high-schools AU and the like)
- hopeless endings (open endings are fine)
- non-canonical character death
- eye trauma described in any kind of detail
- porn without plot
- character bashing (as in unreasonable hating without any reason spelled out - if you see a character able to bash another, warn for it and keep it as out of the author's speech as possible)

Maybe it's Dooku who leapt to the future instead of the Dark Side and has now to help Obi-Wan because who else? (I might totally use one of those for a fic of my own someday. Might being the operative word)
- soulmate!AU and hanahaki!AU are my current favourite and I'd welcome anything with them, but a slight twist of the usual is very much appreciated - say, the last words a soulmate says to you being changeable (and actually changing every so often to something even more generic!), or both (or all) characters in any given pairing suffering from a hanahaki? Or someone (... Anakin, or Tarkin) having their own name as either their enemy or their soulmate (if that's the soulmate!AU where people are born with two names on their wrists) and their partner(s) being _horrified_ and worried about the implications.

And last, but not least: while I list 'hopeless endings' as my DNW, I am fine with character death or heavy subjects (say, abort or miscarriage for mpreg) being mentioned or written about, so for me an ending where a part of any pairing survives and is able to live if not happily then contently ever after is not a hopeless ending (as in, character death is allowed, just warn for it!)
Thanks again for creating something for me (or just reading this)! May the Force make your creativity flow and may the writing block never loom over you!

Chocolate box letter

Dear Chocolatier!
As you may see, this is the first post on this account. It was created specifically for any letter I may write for any exchanges I want to participate in, this just happens to be the first with such an approach.
